← Tonight Villa party plan

Private plan · your villa in Pererenan · researched 2 Oct 2026

Twenty-plus women in the room costs about $1,200 and three weeks.

Worth doing as a way to build a circle. Not as a business. The ads are cheap, drinks from the store keep it lean, and free entry for everyone keeps it legal.

Ads are cheap

$250–400 of ads should fill it

Instagram costs about $2.80 per 1,000 views in Indonesia. For English-speaking women near Canggu, expect 2–3× that. About $300 should bring 80–120 applications. Test with $50 first.

All on you

About $1,000–1,250 lean

Ads, store-bought drinks, food and a cleaner are most of it. Men come free, so nothing comes back. Count it as about $50 per woman in the room. A dinner date costs more.

Free keeps it clean

No tickets, no drink sales

Charging entry or selling drinks counts as work on a visa that doesn't allow it. Bali deported 342 foreigners in the first half of 2026. Free and invite-only avoids that. Tell the banjar and keep the music low.

Do it if
  • you see it as a $1–1.25k a month social spend, run three times, then judge
  • a woman you trust will co-host and put her name on it
  • you will do the boring parts: the villa owner, the banjar, the cleaner
Skip it if
  • it has to make money
  • no woman you trust will co-host
  • the villa lease bans events and the owner says no

Ads

Meta wants at least $5 a day for lead ads; agencies say $25–50 a day learns faster. 12 days at $25 = $300.
Indonesia average $2.80. A small English-speaking audience near Canggu costs more: guess $4–8.
1–2% is normal for a good lifestyle Reel.
Many tap and leave. Keep the form to 5 fields.

Screening and turnout

Approve about half so you can be choosy and keep a waitlist.
Research guess: 60–65% of approved women confirm.
Free events lose 28–60%. A second confirm on the day, a co-host and a ride cut that.
Most women come with a friend or two. Only named, approved friends.

The men

Free entry, by invite only. Aim for about 2 women to 1 man. Invited friends nearly always come.

The night

Run of show · first party Sat 24 Oct, before the rains

Three weeks, start to finish

The wet season starts in November, so the first one should be in late October. Halloween weekend (30–31 Oct) is full of big events. Pick 24 Oct.

2–4 Octthis weekend

Set it up

  • Read your lease for "events", "parties", "maximum guests" and "commercial use". Get the owner's OK in writing.
  • Find the woman co-host. Her name and face go on everything. She approves the women and has a veto on every man.
  • Make a brand Instagram (working name: Sunset House). Post 6–9 shots of the villa at golden hour. Never use your personal account.
  • Make the Tally form, the Google Sheet and a WhatsApp Community. All free.
5–7 OctMon–Wed

Test the ads with $50

  • Three Reels: the pool at sunset, the set-up, a face (the co-host) saying "we're hosting a small evening".
  • Women 21–35, 10–15 km pin on Pererenan, language English. "Traveling in" targeting no longer exists.
  • Measure cost per finished application. Put it into the sliders above.
8–20 Oct12 days

Fill the list

  • Run the best Reel at $20–25 a day.
  • Screen 10 minutes a day. Approve in two batches (Mon, Thu) so messages go out in waves.
  • Invite 3–5 Bali creators (5–30k followers) as guests with a friend. Ask for one story on the night.
  • Line up the men: friends, founders, past guests. Vouch-only. Cap them at about 8.
17 Octa week out

Buy the drinks and tell the village

  • Buy the drinks at a supermarket or bottle shop (Pepito, Bintang Supermarket): sealed, branded bottles only. Never home-made arak.
  • Ask a friend to take photos at golden hour. You need them for the next party's ads.
  • Visit the kelian banjar (village head) in person. Give the date and a small donation (about Rp 0.5–2M). Tell the neighbours.
Thu 22 Oct6pm

The YES deadline

  • Everyone who didn't reply YES goes to the waitlist. Fill their spots from the waitlist the same evening.
  • Aim for 30 confirmed women (friends included) to land 15–18.
Fri 23 Oct

Social proof

  • Post in the group: "22 confirmed, drinks sorted, theme is white linen."
  • Remind everyone. Call up the waitlist for any gaps.
Sat 24 Octthe night

The night

12:00Pin and house rules go out
16:00Set-up, ice, bar, photo corner

Turn one night into a list

  • Send thank-yous and the photo link. Ask them to tag the brand.
  • Fill the "Came?" column. Those women get invited first next time and can bring a friend.
  • Announce the next date. Delete the rows of women you declined.

Lead capture and screening

Apply, don't RSVP

An application makes the invite feel earned. It also gives you the Instagram handle to check before anyone gets the address.

Reel ad from the brand account→She comments or DMs "LIST"→ManyChat replies with the form→Tally form→Google Sheet→Co-host reviews→WhatsApp approval→Pin on the day

The women's form · under a minute

  1. First name
  2. Instagram handle (public, or she follows the brand)
  3. WhatsApp number
  4. "I'm 21 or older" tick (Indonesia's drinking age is 21)
  5. Who would you bring? Friend's name and Instagram
  6. Optional: what brings you to Bali? (one line, filters bots)

The men's form · more, because they're the risk

  1. Name, Instagram and LinkedIn or company site
  2. Who referred you? Must be a host or past guest
  3. What do you do?
  4. One line on why
  5. Agrees to house rules: no pushing drinks, no DMs to guests after, no photos of others without asking, no drugs

Screening: 1–2 minutes each

Write the yes rules in the sheet header before you read a single profile. Apply them the same way every time.

  • Real account: a face, real posts, real comments.
  • In Bali on the date: lives here or is visiting.
  • 21 or older.
  • Fits the room: would she enjoy this crowd, and would the room be better with her in it? This is your and the co-host's call.
  • Check "About this account" (••• on her profile): when it was made, which country.

Say no to

  • No photo, a stock-looking photo, or a random letters-and-numbers name.
  • Thousands of followers but no likes or comments.
  • Accounts that sell something: promo pages, "DM for collabs" with no real life.
  • Anyone who gets pushy about the address before approval.

Say no kindly and never mention looks. "Waitlist" is the soft no. Keep profiles inside the host team.

What makes a woman say yes to a stranger's villa

Answer her four worries in the invite

Free entry and free drinks are not special in Canggu. Miss Fish, FINNS, Vault and Iron Fairies already give them most nights. The hook is the crowd, the setting, the photos and being picked.

The drinks"Will my drink be safe?"

The UK and Australia both warn about spiking and methanol in Bali. Use sealed, branded bottles from a real store, opened at the bar where everyone can see. One host stays sober and keeps an eye on the bar. No home-made arak. Say this in the noon message.

Being outnumbered"Will it be ten guys and me?"

Cap the men at about 1 for every 2 women. Say "every guest is approved by [Co-host]". Women notice a bad ratio in minutes and leave.

A private address"Is this a real thing or a weird villa down a dark gang?"

A brand page with real photos and the co-host's face. The pin only after approval, a lit entrance, and a host who meets people at the gate.

Getting home"How do I get there and back at night?"

A Grab code or a pickup from a café in Berawa at 5:15. A driver or Grab rides at close. About $6 a ride.

What she wants

  • To be picked, not sold to: an application, a small cap, a waitlist.
  • Content: golden hour start, a photographer or a lit photo corner, a theme (white linen, all black).
  • Her friend with her. Ask for the friend's name and IG up front.
  • Seeing who else is going: the WhatsApp group shows a real list.
  • An easy, good-looking, respectful crowd, and good drinks without asking.

What kills it

  • Anything that sounds like pay-to-meet. Never mention money, "men pay" or "free for girls" in an ad or a message.
  • Ads about looks: "models", "hot girls", "singles", "meet". Meta rejects them too.
  • DMs from a man's personal account.
  • Pushy men, drugs, a crowd that's mostly guys.
  • Promoter-style "girls get free drinks and a table". It's everywhere already, and it brings the wrong crowd.

Make it feel exclusive

  • Apply, don't RSVP. Approval in batches.
  • A hard cap: about 40 people. Say the number.
  • A waitlist that really moves. People who come off it show up more.
  • The town and time at approval. The exact pin at noon on the day.
  • Plus-ones by name only.
  • A name and a theme, the same every time: Sunset House, white linen.
  • Returning guests are invited first. After a few parties it feels like a members' list.
  • Golden hour start. People arrive on time for the photos.

The men · free, by invite

Pick men who make the room better

Men come free, by invite only. That keeps it legal and stops it feeling like pay-to-meet. They earn their spot by making the room better.

Who

  • Vouch-only: a friend of a host, a past guest, or a founder you can check (LinkedIn, company, mutuals).
  • Men who bring something: founders, creatives, good talkers, a fun friend group. Not just a wallet.
  • The co-host can veto anyone. Say so in the women's invite.
  • One strike, off the list.

How many

  • About 2 women for every man, never worse than 3 to 2. For 20–24 women, that's 10–12 men, you and Jonathan included.
  • Don't overbook men: invited friends nearly always come. Add men only after the women confirm.
  • Optional: ask each man to bring a good bottle. It's a gift to the house, not a ticket.

If it becomes regular and you want men to pay later, a licensed local partner has to sell the entry, not you. Taking the money yourself counts as work on your visa.

Keep it clean and keep the neighbours happy

In Dec 2024 the narcotics agency raided a Canggu villa party. It was invite-only by WhatsApp, charged about Rp 3.5M, and drugs were found. The organiser and the woman who sent the invites were detained. Don't look like that party.

Medium · visa and money

Any paid or ticketed activity counts as work. Tourist visas and VoA don't allow it. Bali deported 342 foreigners in Jan–Jun 2026 and started an immigration patrol in April. Free entry for everyone avoids this.

Keep it free. No tickets, no "contributions", no drink sales.

High · drugs

Possession is 4–12 years. Trafficking can mean death. As host, what's found in your villa is your problem.

Zero drugs, written in every invite and said at the door.

Medium · selling drinks

Selling alcohol needs a licence. Unlicensed sales mean fines and visa trouble.

Never sell drinks. No tokens, no bar tab. Everything is free.

Medium · the banjar and noise

Neighbours who complain to the banjar are the usual trigger for police. Amplified music normally stops by 11pm or midnight.

Visit the kelian banjar a week before with a small donation. Music down at 10:30. No party on a ceremony day.

Medium · the lease

Most Bali leases need written approval for events and may charge an event fee.

Read it for "events", "maximum guests", "commercial use". Get the owner's OK in writing.

Medium · how it looks online

On 17 Sep 2026 immigration detained 13 foreigners in Umalas, Seminyak and Canggu over alleged prostitution, found partly by watching online platforms.

Ads and messages talk about the setting and the people. Never looks, never money, never "meet".

Meta ad rules

Ads can't say or imply the viewer's personal traits ("you're beautiful"). Dating ads need Meta's written permission. No bottles or "open bar" in the ad.

"A small sunset evening in a villa. Invite-only. Apply for the list."

Safety on the night

Spiking and methanol from fake arak are documented in Canggu and Seminyak.

Sealed store-bought bottles, a sober host, a lit entrance, rides home.

Age

The drinking age in Indonesia is 21 and applies to tourists.

21+ on the form. A friendly ID check for everyone at the door.

From one party to a social circle

The second party is cheaper than the first

The first party buys you a list. Past guests come back more reliably, bring friends, and fill the next one with fewer ads.

Make it a series

  • One name, one night, monthly: "Sunset House, last Saturday of the month". A name turns "a party at Arthur's" into a thing people say yes to again.
  • A host team of 3–4: you, the woman co-host (the face, approves women, owns the WhatsApp), and one or two friends whose job is introductions. Nobody stands alone for more than five minutes.
  • One theme per party that photographs well and costs little: white linen, golden hour, disco at the pool.
  • Returning guests are invited first. Partiful's own team grew one bar night into a series this way, with each co-host bringing a network.

Ambassadors and give-backs

  • After party one, pick 4–6 women who brought good energy. Give each a personal link and two friend spots next time. This is how ad spend drops to near zero by party three.
  • Small things that get noticed: remember names, send the photos the next morning, a good welcome drink, a birthday drink for regulars.
  • Protect the room: a man who makes a woman uncomfortable is off the list, quietly and for good. Tell the women this rule. It is a selling point.

Mix in smaller things

  • Every second month, a sunset dinner for 12 or a morning swim and brunch. That's where people actually get to know each other.
  • Use the WhatsApp list for the good nights out you find in Tonight. Be the person who connects people: founders to founders, creatives to brands.

Two numbers to watch

  • How many came, out of how many confirmed.
  • How many came back from last time. If that number rises, it is becoming a scene. Judge it after three parties.
